The day prior, the girls and I spent most of our free time making crafts and baking. We began baking the Pecan/Walnut Pie,
and Hand Print Painted Fall Trees,
next, Pumpkin Swirl Cheesecake,
and Painted Hand Prints which resemble a Turkey, transferred onto tiles from our previous home. Once dry I sealed the tile, and added rubber feet to the bottom to use each year as trivets!
The girls also made place cards,
and to finish off our pre-thanksgiving - Deviled eggs, Cut-out Paper Turkey's glued onto plastic tea cups (the girls fine-china), and Kix Cereal Corn on the Cob treats!
The morning of Thanksgiving, we enjoyed coffee overlooking a lovely sunrise!
Brian began preparing the Turkey, stuffing, gravy, and bourbon cranberries!
The girls couldn't wait to eat turkey - HA!! I found this cute craft, a large paper which I cut open and filled with popcorn, used lunch bags to make the legs, and decorated with fake fruit!
Dinner time! Here is Brian carving the [delicious] turkey!
A few photos, we then each give thanks, very blessed to be healthy, to have love, a home, friends and family!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

love the pic of Brian getting the food ready with Rocky close-by! Mason's teacher did the same popcorn turkey for his Kinder class. Very cute!
