Marissa is so scared to have her tooth pulled, and even though she gets a thrill to wiggle her tooth with her tongue. The thought of someone touching it makes tears fall down her cheek. I would assure her that I wouldn't pull, just touch and see how loose it was, hoping I could get a quick grip. Marissa became wise to my trick and would hold 4 of my fingers with her hand allowing me to only touch her tooth with my index finger.
Finally on January 16th, while playing a board game I could see her tooth laying sideways just hanging ready to hide under a pillow. I asked Marissa to brush her teeth, but no luck, so I asked if I could touch her tooth with a tissue and she agreed, with one touch it fell in my hand. Marissa cried with joy and laughter, placing it in her tooth pillow and tucked it under her pillow.
The tooth fairy left her 2 $1.00 bills, and 2 peace sign hair clips!
