100 years of Girl Scouting

March 12, 2012 Marissa's elementary school along with her fellow girl scouts celebrated Girl Scouts 100 years.

Mr. Jones, principal paid tribute by allowing the girls to site the Girl Scout Oath and Pledge of Allegiance over loud speak just after the morning bell. Each Girl Scout was then awarded with a free In-and-Out Burger!

Later that evening, Brentwood's Mayor invited local troops to visit City Hall and receive a proclamation regarding the Girl Scout's 100th anniversary declaring the week of March 12th Girl Scout week!
