we saw Space Chimps this morning w/the Roberts family. Cute movie. Sierra just couldn't get cozy on my lap so luckily we were the only families in the theater - so I was able to stand in the back rocking her to sleep... oh what we mothers do (the down side: my back is killing me, the upside: my arms are looking in better shape). Afterwards, the kids took a few candid pictures in a photo booth - so CUTE! and headed to Schooner's Grille for lunch.
... Brian has already left today (for 3 days) on another business trip to San Diego and Tijuana, instead of bringing home $$$, I can look forward to some premium tequila!!! I think it affects Marissa more than we think. After giving Brian a big hug bye, she took off upstairs and wouldn't come back down as Sierra and I began walking outside waving bye as he drove off; although as I shut the door she bolted down the stairs. Little does daddy realize that Marissa misses her daddy soooo much! I asked her "so what do you want for dinner later - and said (as she always does, when he is away) "we can't eat until daddy comes home" - so I tell her, "well sweetie, daddy is on a trip we can't wait, he wont be back until Tuesday" - "oh mommy, ok, I'll have mac 'n cheese".

I love the silly pictures. Poor Marissa, it must be tough for her when Brian's not around. Girls have a special bond to their daddies.
