juicy goodness or goodness gracious

This past Friday Brian and I planned a night out w/Kyle and Katherine to celebrate Kyle turning the big 3-0 (we missed his birthday party a few weeks ago). We decided on Qin's restaurant (new to Antioch) it's a pretty nice place - good food - one downside the wait was 20 minutes even though they had about 10 tables available... more reason to drink at their fancy bar, which of course we did. Next we headed to Brentwood's Bowling Alley, where Vanessa and Dustin met up w/us for cosmic bowling! Even though Brian and I finished a bottle of wine ourselves at dinner, it didn't stop me and everyone else to indulge in more alcohol. My drink of choice, of course, Jack 'n Coke - uh did I mention it was served in a pint glass ;0. Katherine insisted on my trying a 'Starburst' (actually named ROYAL BOMB) Ingredients: 8 oz Red Bull (always go w/your first instinct - I HATE red bull), 3/4 oz Crown Royal Canadian Whisky, 1/4 oz Peach Schnapps) I even asked Brian for advice on this concoction and the consequence I may suffer, but the pros weighed the cons. BOTTOM's UP! (insert crooked eyes!!) Bowling was SO MUCH FUN. We danced (I more than the others. HA!)! We Laughed! We took many pictures! Happy Birthday Kyle! Looking forward to our next outing - minus the Starburst. WAIT - - did I mention that I (after declining w/much rejection) drank half of another Starburst (Royal Bomb) insisting they not add the peach schnapps, followed by 2 pint glass chasers of water to dilute my mistake!!! Too late the damage was done - thank goodness my LOVE Brian was there to hold me and convince the other party animals Torina has ruined the night it's time to go home. The, TORINA YOU ARE CRAZY DRUNK - LOOK. My camera has all the smiley happy people pictures, Katherine's has my altered look pose, which I may consider posting as a warning to any of you - NOT to mix drinks... especially at the age of 35. 25 go for it, 30 questionable. P.S. FACT: unknown to me at the time ;( Drinking Red Bull with alcohol - While the Red Bull will make you feel alert, the alcohol will decrease your reaction time AND your ability to judge how drunk you are. 1.You will feel a false sense of alertness. 2.You will likely drink beyond your normal (non-Red Bull) alcohol tolerance level. 3.You will make an ass out of yourself.
