very thankful!

My Thanksgiving morning was devoted to watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade with the girls, Brian isn't into as much as me, but agrees that when the girls are 5 and 7 yrs. old we should go in person - YEA!! I record the parade while we shower and get dressed and then we're able to fast forward through the commercials!!! We had to hustle a little bit since our last minute idea was to drive to Concord's Hilton Hotel and surprise Brian's family where they decided to feast on a Thanksgiving buffet - we didn't stay for dinner just an hour or so during their cocktail/appetizer hour!

Afterwards we headed to my parents house for a traditional home made meal in the comfort of home. This year Elilah's family went to Arizona to be with Mike's parents, but that didn't stop my dad from buying an 18 lb turkey to feast on! Deviled eggs, wine, Turkey and all the fixin's made for a very thankful thanksgiving - very blessed for our health, our family, the abundance of food and the roof over our heads! My mom set a turkey themed table for the girls - they decided to eat Pasta! Brian and Vovo fell fast asleep on the couch after dinner. But quickly woke to watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, along with coffee, pumpkin pie and pecan bars!! The girls later passed out on the couch while we concluded our evening watching old Johnny Carson memorable moments!!
