Awards - Student Recognition!

On November 15th, Marissa's elementary school held an awards ceremony honoring students for the first school trimester.

Marissa first received the 'Perfect Attendance' award. She was given a perfect attendance certificate and pencil (which I taped to the certificate and wouldn't allow her to use - HA!) Mrs. Deans (Marissa's teacher) awarded Marissa as well as the following classmates, Travis, Jazymn, Braden, Emily and Ava.

Marissa also received the 'Leader of the Pack / Principal' award, which is awarded to students each trimester for their positive behavior that reflects the Krey CASH Matrix. The CASH Matrix is a positive behavior matrix which establishes specific behavior that is expected throughout common areas of the school. At the end of each week students are given Coyote Cash Dollar(s), which can then be used at the Student store to purchase toys and/or stickers. CASH = C: Come Prepared; A: Act Respectfully; S: put Safety First; H: be a Hard Worker. Mr. Jones awarded those students with a dog tag, which read Leader of the Pack!

Brian and I are VERY proud of Marissa, not only with her awards, but with her report card which had amazing grades!! Her first year/trimester of school and she's having a blast, earning awards and becoming a great student!!
