12 Days of Christmas

We had a few surprises this holiday season, first finding our house was candy caned by our good friends the Roberts'. As the girls and I were walking toward the car headed for school we found many candy canes scattered throughout the yard and on our cars, with a little candy cane love! A few days later, the evening of December 13th, Brian opened to front door on his way out to meet friends, and found a gift on our doorstep, an Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas CD, with a note referring to the 1st day of Christmas, from Secret [santa] Friends! I actually thought it was a game and I needed to give someone a gift for the 2nd day of Christmas, which I did leaving 2 Dove Chocolate candy bars and a note shaped like a turtle.....well I was wrong, when we returned home after secretly dropping off that gift we found a gift on our doorstep, 2 huge gingerbread men cookies for the girls to decorate! I never did admit to my friend the mistake I made - not to worry they seemed to enjoy their gift but wondered why the gifts did not continue - whoops, LOL!!!

On the 3rd day of Christmas I came home from having dinner with my friend Melanie, to find 3 delicious apples! Since we left on our trip to Disneyland our secret santa friend was unable to leave items on our doorstep, instead on the 7th day of Christmas we were amazed to find a stack of gifts representing the days we missed, the 4th day of Christmas 4 Movie Tickets; the 5th day of Christmas 2 bottles of nail polish to paint our 5 fingers; the 6th day of Christmas 6 dog toys for Rocky; the 7th day of Christmas 7 mini chocolate santas! On the 8th day of Christmas we all sat in our office which is adjacent to the front door, with the lights out hoping to catch our secret santa friends. After about an hour, the girls became sleepy and bored and sure enough the moment we sat in the living room we were door bell ditched - finding 8 delicious brownies on an adorable Santa platter!

On the 9th day of Christmas, we kept peeking out the front door waiting with anticipation for the next gift, and found 9 yummy hot chocolate packets! On the 10th and 11th day of Christmas we received more yummy treats, 10 peppermint brownies, and 11 peppermint rice krispees!

On the 12th day Christmas, on our return home from my parents house Christmas eve we found 12 adorable cuties laying asleep in a bed! SO SUPER CUTE!!!

We were hoping our Secret santa Friends would leave a note letting us know who they were. Who ever you are we love and appreciate all your gifts and friendship and have never been so excited with such a thoughtful holiday surprise!
