Squidward's Girlfriend..

yesterday we received our Family Fun magazine in the mail and while searching for a new craft I came across a Quadropus (an octopus w/4 legs instead of 8), using old gloves. It just so happened that I had 2 pink gloves lingering around - I had meant to place the gloves for donation to the Haven of Peace (shelters for women and children) which coincidentally picked-up the same day, but I noticed the gloves on the floor in the dining room HA! - how lucky.

~ marissa choosing buttons ~ ~ marissa placing buttons/tentacles on glove ~ ~ marissa filling the glove w/rice ~ Today, while I sewed the buttons to the tentacles, the button eyes and felt lips, also a cowboy polly doll hat, Marissa entertained herself w/moon sand burring polly dolls. Seems to me that we have beach/ocean on the brain - making octopus and playing w/sand, go figure ;) ~ marissa is thrilled w/her new Quadropus ~ ~ marissa named her WATER MIST CHLOE ~
