Marissa Snow Board Adventure

This past Saturday we spent the day at Bear Valley for Marissa's first Snow Boarding lesson - Brian was the instructor! We stopped just before the resort and had lunch at Round Table Pizza and found this Dalmatian frog nearby at a dog rescue center. Sierra and I spent most of the day at the bottom of the slope sledding and making snow balls. Sierra always making a funny face! Sierra kept diving into the snow, face first, to eat the snow! Thank goodness I found goggles for the girls, it made it so much easier for them while it snowed, plus Sierra kept complaining how 'Sunny' it was when her goggles were off. It was not sunny at all - just super bright, which she couldn't understand if there was no sun. HA! Brian was so excited for Marissa I think he forgets how old she is and how quickly she tires out. We really need to get there earlier and spend about 2 hrs. in the morning break for lunch and go out again for another 2 hrs., that's about how long the girls last in the snow. Their little legs get so tired! Brian and Marissa ready to go on the ski lift/walking floor (as the girls would say). Check out Marissa's skills! I can't believe how well she did, never complained, just kept going and going constantly for over 2 hrs.! We were so proud of her. Marissa only fell twice each time she came down the hill. Looking forward to this Saturday when we head up to Bear Valley again - I wish we won the Superbowl pool and could rent a cabin!
