Monster Bus

Friday afternoon the girls and I were driving on Highway 4 Bypass and spied a Yellow School Monster Bus parked near the Rave Theater - of course we had to stop and check it out! $5.00 per person (a little more than I had expected), but it was for charity, Kids Rock Benefit Concert, for fallen public safety officers in Contra Costa County. Ralph's World Live! will perform, and proceeds will be donated to the affected families. We loaded inside the bus, the driver had Elmo seats for the kids, that both Marissa and Sierra squeezed into. I sat near the window and a large seat belt strapped across our laps. HOLD ON and ENJOY THE RIDE! The driver spun us around a blocked portion of the parking lot a few times - the girls had huge smiles and were laughing the entire ride. Funny thing is that as we exited the bus I mentioned how I wish the ride was longer and faster, and Marissa said "I think it was long enough - it was FUN!" Then on the way home Marissa said "Hum, I thought he was gonna drive us around the entire parking lot!" - HA! HA!

The Monster Bus will be at this location for 2 weeks - so go for a ride!!!
