a few fun moments to share....

A few days prior to Marissa starting school she was bugging me to buy the Pillsbury Back to School cookies, which she had noticed on the back of the box - I think we've purchased every themed pre-made cookie thus far. Anywho - because Marissa started school in July the cookies had not been available until last week!!! It was as if Marissa had found gold in the dairy aisle, practically falling out of the shopping cart grabbing as many boxes her little hands could carry - reminiscent to the game show Supermarket Sweep.

I over heard Marissa and Sierra playing Teacher the other day, and because Marissa was Coyote of Day in her class last week - Marissa was honoring Sierra with her very own Coyote of Day badge. Marissa drew a picture and added stickers to a piece of paper which she clipped onto Sierra's leotard with barrettes - after asking to use a straight-pin as did her teacher, but I had a bad image in my head when she had asked to get a straight pin from my sewing table.

Today, Marissa reached the Fantastic (green) level on her classroom behavior chart and was rewarded a prize from Mrs. Deans treasure box!! Here she is posing with her new Pet Shop toy!

Sierra was just as proud of Marissa as I was!
