April 1st (fools day) and a 1st tooth lost (no foolin')

The morning of April Fools Day I began fooling Marissa and Sierra with silly pranks just to be sure Marissa was aware of what day it was. A few days prior I had been plotting an idea to fool Marissa at school. I first thought of sending her to school with an empty lunch box and just a note which would read April Fools Day, but remembered that she on occasion opens her bag to place a snack in the snack basket. So, then I thought I'd just put a can of beans or garlic in some Tupperware, but after telling my mom my idea we both thought one better put her kitchen playtime food in her regular lunch Tupperware. When I dropped Marissa off at school I handed her teacher, Mrs. Deans, her actual lunch and to help me fool Marissa. At 2:00pm I arrived at the school to help instruct their cooking class (they made worms in dirt - chocolate pudding w/oreo's and gummy worms). As I walked into the classroom Mrs. Deans said the prank was awesome, that all the teachers were nonchalantly watching her as she opened her lunch. She began to glance at the Tupperware with a 'What the H***' look, then opened the box and crinkled her nose as if to say are you kidding me. As her teacher approached Marissa with her actual lunch, she asked Marissa if she knew what the note inside read and she quickly sarcastically said "April Fool Day!".

Mrs. Deans then said "Oh, but Marissa has a prank for you, which you'll find in her lunch box". Hum, I thought - and all of sudden Marissa's friend Hailey said "Yep, it's her tooth!" I just about jumped with excitement, Marissa lost her first baby tooth!!! Her plan was to place the tooth in the Tupperware where I would find it when I cleaned out her lunch box after school. Of course I'm sure I'd notice the tooth missing - I had been checking it every chance I could, worried she may swallow it or loose it at school. At home Marissa holds her tooth and her tooth pillow to place under her pillow! What an awesome day it turned out to be!! The next morning The Tooth Fairy left Marissa a bag filled with 4 quarters, a $2.00 dollar bill and a note congratulating her on officially becoming a big girl, along with her fairy dust sprinkled along side her bed, chair and pillow! The week of April 7th Marissa showed me how loose her tooth was and of course was afraid of me when trying to pull it. So I hurried to make this tooth pillow w/a pocket infront to place the tooth once it fell out. I found the idea in some magazine years ago. Here she is posing w/the pillow :)
