a day at the Dentist, an evening at the Hawaiian Fest

On August 26th Sierra had her (2nd) 6month dental appointment for the 2011 year calendar. 4 star patient, with no cavities, great brushing and a pleasure entertaining the staff. X-rays are fun, but the prize(s) are AWESOME! Later that evening Brian, the girls and I attended Marissa's elementary school annual Hawaiian Fest, here are the girls in their Hawaiian attire (using my Hawaii sarong's as skirts). The Krey Coyote Mascot dressed-up for some Hawaiian fun - the girls enjoyed commenting on her/his coconut boobie covers! The girls had a blast making candy sugar tubes, trying to pick the winning lollipop, bean bag toss, tip a troll, cookie decorating, bowling, basketball and many more games I can't seem to remember. Yummy SnoCones, and face painting. Funny/weird thing is that the volunteers helping with the face painting had no clue what the actual peace sign design was, they kept painting the Mercedes-Benz logo, until Brian corrected the error as they painted both Marissa and Sierra's peace sign on their cheek.
