Marissa gave Brian a more personal gift, a horse wood craft which she colored, and then wrote two notes, the first saying I ELV [I Love You], RRL [From] Marissa. The second note she simply wrote out the entire alphabet and signed her name - SO ADORABLE!!
Sierra gave Brian an assortment of items found in her room; specifically, a pink marker and barbie paper to take with him to work - SO CUTE!!
Then I helped the girls give Brian his store bought gift, a Digital Frame! Which was on his wish list, giving him the opportunity to glance at up to 3000 of his favorite pictures [more importantly Marissa, Sierra and I], all day at work!!
Later that morining, Brian had prepared some delicious baby-back ribs, and placed them in the BBQ for a 6 hour slow cook - then we all headed to the CineLux Delta Cinema in downtown Brentwood to see Toy Story 3.
Once home Brian checked the ribs, made some super yummy Mudslides, and we all just enjoyed having Brian relaxing with us without the worries of work.
The girls made their Lowes Build and Grow Catapult's with Brian.
The girls had fun Painting!
Enjoyed the Swings!
The night ended with a no blood, all fun Boxing Match - super hilarious, until Marissa accidentally smacked Sierra in the jaw with a clean right-hook! LOL
If was a perfect day spending it with the perfect Daddy! We appreciate all Brian does to allow us to have the life we have! Brian is a very caring person with a big heart and so much enthusiasm for his family and work. Brian has made many accomplishments, but his most valued accomplishment is loving his family 100%.
After the kids were snug as a bug, Brian and I had planned to chill, but I passed out [or as we call it, "got Forest Glen'd"], after drinking a bottle of cheap white wine -we've been testing out random inexpensive wines. This bottle will NOT be welcomed in our home again - HA!
