Marissa is Leader of the Pack!

On Thursday, March 1st Marissa's elementary school held an awards ceremony honoring students for the second school trimester.

Marissa was awarded with the Leader of the Pack, along with other 1st grade classmates! Here's Marissa pictured with her Principal Mr. Jones and vice principal Mrs. Balderas, as they award her with her dog tags! Leader of the Pack students K-5 are selected based on the five Coyote Character traits that reflects the Krey CASH Matrix. The CASH Matrix is a positive behavior matrix which establishes specific behavior that is expected throughout common areas of the school. At the end of each week students are given Coyote Cash Dollar(s), which can then be used at the Student store to purchase toys and/or stickers. CASH = C: Come Prepared; A: Act Respectfully; S: put Safety First; H: be a Hard Worker. Here's Marissa sitting with her 1st grade class along with her teacher Mrs. Sanabria, who we adore! Beside Marissa's 1st grade teacher is Marissa's kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Deans whom we are great friends with and also adore - perfect that she sat so close, the teachers at Krey are awesome! Marissa's report card was amazing - straight A's across the board! We are so very proud of Marissa and her enthusiasm as a student, always striving to do her best and exceed her goals! Marissa is currently reading 2nd grade level, as well as mastering her math skills!
